We offer a buying method that bring as less as possible headaches with three different packs: > Print, with the entire family exported as .otf & .ttf files > Web, with the entire family exported as .woff, .woff2, and .ttf files > Custom, with fonts chosen and generated on our platform as instances. Starting from 80CHF per instance, followed by a 20% discount per additional instances.
Currently, we only support .ttf, .woff and .woff2, as format for any generated fonts. However, we are working hard to give you also access to .otf files.
We are using the safe and easy online payment platform Stripe, accepting Credit Card, Mastercard, Visa, American Express..
From our Custom pack, we let our customer choose our products à la carte. And, we offer a decreasing price of 20% for each additional font within a same family, just to be fair and make sense out of the shopping procedure. Please contact us for any large order beyond €5,000. For student discount, please send us an email with your request and a non-retouched copy of your student ID at info@hooloovoo.studio. For non-profit organization projects, please contact us for more information, so that we issue a specific License and EULA if we agree to it.
lo-ol type foundry is a company small enough to not include VAT in the products (for now).
lo-ol type foundry is registered in Switzerland, for which we have to issue our invoices in Swiss Francs. If you need an estimate prior to a purchase, we can provide it as a PDF document in the desired currency following the rate of the issue date.
Your order is ready to download once your payment is validated. You will also receive a confirmation email containing the fonts as zip files. If at any point you want to download again your purchased fonts, you can find them on your account of our platform.
All invoices are issued as PDF format files and available anytime from the Licensee's account. If you require an invoice in a different language (it is in English by default), please contact us at support@lo-ol.design.
Anyone involved in using a font needs to be provided with a license. As designers use a typeface as part of their work, it is the designer who needs to get a license. If and when the client (individual person or an entity such as a company) wants to use the same typeface for the same work, the client needs to get as many licenses as individual users eventually involved in the project as they become additional users.
We create and publish our typefaces when we believe them to be ready for the real world. However, we live in a forever changing world. Each typefaces will be updated progressively (additional glyphs for one or several scripts, new styles, weight or design axis...). We will notify our customers of any new update or upgrade. As some upgrades may require extensive work, lo-ol type holds the right to offer free updates or upgrades with additional fees.
